These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Voleo mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Voleo (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Voleo is a mobile application — currently available on iPhone, with Android coming soon — that provides AI-assisted padel coaching, including personalised weekly training plans, drills, and tactical guidance based on information you provide (such as your self-rated level, preferred side, experience, and goals).
Coaching content is informational only. The Service does not provide medical, physiotherapy, or professional athletic-injury advice, and is not a substitute for a qualified coach or healthcare professional. Physical activity carries inherent risks. You participate at your own risk and should consult a physician before beginning any new training program. By using the Service you acknowledge and assume these risks.
2. Eligibility & age
You must be at least the age of digital consent in your country (generally 13, and up to 16 in parts of the EU) to use the Service. If you are a minor, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly provide the Service to children below the applicable minimum age.
3. Accounts & guest use
You can use Voleo as a guest or create an account. If you play as a guest, your progress and subscription may be tied to your device and could be lost; adding a login helps preserve them. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Voleo is free to download and includes free features. Optional Premium subscriptions unlock unlimited coaching and a new training plan every week. Subscription pricing, duration, and any introductory or free-trial terms are presented in the app at the point of purchase.
- Apple-managed billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account through the App Store at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms and policies, not by Voleo.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices; changes apply to future billing periods and, where required, will be notified to you in advance.
Your use of the Service is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to apps obtained through the App Store.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its content;
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems.
6. Intellectual property
The Service and all of its content, software, design, the Voleo name, logo, and mascot are owned by Voleo or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple EULA.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Apple (for distribution and payments) and our service providers (for example, hosting and the AI models that help generate your coaching). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that coaching guidance will produce any particular result.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voleo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
